Rod Wave, a Florida native, has made it a point to provide his increasing fan base a new project to revel in each year since his debut track, “Heart On Ice,” in 2019. It comprises Ghetto Gospel from 2019 and Pray 4 Love from 2020, the latter of which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Rod’s popularity skyrocketed the following year with the release of his third album, Soulfly. Rod’s body of work topped the albums list, proving that he was far closer to success than some may have thought.
Rod returns with news about his impending fourth album, a little more than a year after achieving his first No. 1 record. Rod Wave announced the title of his forthcoming album, Beautiful Mind, in a freestyle he did over Future’s “Wait For U” with Drake and Tems, according to HipHopNMore. He also announced that it would be available on June 3. Rod Wave even went so far as to declare that the record was sent in last Monday, indicating that the project is genuinely finished.
Rod Wave’s statement comes following the release of his track “Cold December,” which will undoubtedly feature on Beautiful Mind. He also sparked some debate with his late 2021 song “Nirvana,” which many mistook for a suicide message, which Rod Wave categorically refuted.
